Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Odesto Automotive (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the client have received email booking confirmation and where applicable deposit is paid.
We reserve the right to request a deposit or full payment in advance for certain services.
A booking constitutes an agreement for the service discussed and agreed at the time of booking. If the condition of the vehicle differs significantly from the information provided when booking, we may need to revise the price or service before work begins.
We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work where we consider the vehicle, its condition or the requested work to present an unreasonable risk to the vehicle, our staff or our premises.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. We ask customers to provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Deposits may be non-refundable where a cancellation or rescheduling request is made at short notice, particularly where the appointment has been specifically allocated for an extended service such as paint correction or ceramic coating.
Where we can fill a cancelled appointment with another booking, we may, at our discretion, transfer or refund the deposit.
Repeated cancellations, late arrivals or failure to attend may result in future bookings requiring payment in full in advance.
Vehicle Condition
Vehicles are inspected before work begins where reasonably practicable. We may photograph or record the condition of a vehicle before, during and after the service.
You must inform us of any known existing damage, mechanical problems, warning lights, electrical faults, paint defects, previous repairs, modifications or other issues that may affect the vehicle or the service being carried out.
We take reasonable care of all vehicles entrusted to us. However, detailing can involve working around existing damage, weakened materials, aged plastics, trim, paintwork, wheels, badges, decals and other components.
We cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing damage, deterioration, corrosion, loose or poorly fitted components, failed repairs, weakened materials or defects that become apparent during the detailing process unless caused by our negligence.
Particular care will be taken with older, modified, rare, high-performance and specialist vehicles. However, age and condition may increase the risk of existing materials or components failing during normal detailing processes.
Paintwork and Paint Correction
Paint correction is intended to improve the appearance of a vehicle’s paintwork by reducing or removing suitable surface defects.
Paint correction cannot guarantee the complete removal of every defect. The achievable result depends on paint thickness, paint type, previous repairs, defect depth and the condition of the vehicle.
Where appropriate, we will discuss the expected level of correction before work begins.
We will not knowingly compromise the integrity of a vehicle’s paintwork in pursuit of complete defect removal.
Deep scratches, stone chips, etching, defects through the clear coat and other damage may require additional repair or may not be safely removable through machine polishing.
Any estimated percentage of defect removal is an indication only and is not a guarantee of a particular result.
Ceramic Coatings and Paint Protection
Ceramic coatings and other protective products are applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended procedures wherever reasonably practicable.
Coating durability and performance can be affected by washing methods, chemicals, environmental conditions, mileage, storage, contamination and general vehicle use.
Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions. Please see here https://waxisdead.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/WID-WARRANTY-Terms-and-Conditions.pdf
We cannot guarantee a coating’s performance or lifespan where the required maintenance and aftercare have not been followed.
Any aftercare requirements provided to you should be followed to maintain the performance of the coating.
Wheels, Tyres and Delicate Components
We take reasonable care when cleaning wheels, tyres, brake components and other delicate areas.
Wheels that are heavily contaminated, previously refurbished, lacquered, painted, diamond-cut, polished, anodised or otherwise modified may require additional care.
We cannot accept responsibility for existing corrosion, lacquer failure, flaking paint, peeling finishes, previous refurbishment defects or weakened surfaces that become apparent during cleaning.
We will use products and processes appropriate to the condition of the vehicle wherever reasonably practicable.
Customer Belongings
Customers are asked to remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before the appointment.
We will take reasonable care when working inside the vehicle, but we cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Items left in the vehicle may need to be moved to allow the service to be completed. We will take reasonable care when doing so.
Vehicle Keys and Access
Customers may be required to provide us with the vehicle keys for the duration of the service.
Keys will be kept securely while in our possession.
Where a vehicle is left with us, customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is legally permitted to be driven and that appropriate insurance is in place where required.
We may need to move a vehicle around our premises or nearby areas for operational purposes. Any such movement will be kept to what is reasonably necessary.
Vehicle Collection and Storage
Customers should collect their vehicle at the agreed time where possible.
Where a vehicle remains on our premises beyond the agreed collection time, additional storage charges may apply where this has been agreed or notified to the customer.
We reserve the right to take reasonable steps to recover outstanding balances where a vehicle remains with us after the agreed collection period.
Pricing and Payment
Prices provided by Odesto Automotive are based on the information available to us at the time of quotation.
Where the actual condition of the vehicle differs substantially from the information provided, we will discuss any additional work and associated costs with you before carrying it out.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the agreed service and before the vehicle is collected.
We reserve the right to withhold release of a vehicle where payment is outstanding, subject to applicable law.
Prices may be subject to change where additional work is requested or additional time is required due to the condition of the vehicle.
Additional Work
If additional work is identified during a service, we will normally discuss this with the customer before carrying it out.
Additional work requested by the customer may incur additional charges.
In situations where minor additional work is reasonably necessary to complete the agreed service safely or to achieve the agreed result, we may carry this out where the additional cost is minimal and reasonable.
Damage and Liability
We will take reasonable care of your vehicle while it is in our possession.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from pre-existing defects, hidden damage, deterioration, corrosion, previous repairs, poor-quality modifications, weakened materials or other conditions that were not caused by us.
Where damage is caused by our negligence or failure to take reasonable care, we will assess the circumstances and work with the customer to reach an appropriate resolution.
We recommend that customers maintain appropriate insurance for their vehicle at all times.
Mechanical and Electrical Issues
Odesto Automotive is a detailing business and does not provide mechanical, electrical or diagnostic repair services unless specifically agreed.
We cannot accept responsibility for mechanical, electrical or electronic faults that occur independently of the detailing work.
If we identify a potential mechanical or electrical issue while working on a vehicle, we may notify the customer.
Customer-Supplied Products
14.1 We generally use our own professional detailing products and equipment.
14.2 Where a customer requests that a specific product supplied by them is used, we cannot guarantee its suitability, performance or compatibility with the vehicle.
14.3 We reserve the right to decline the use of a customer-supplied product where we consider it unsuitable or potentially harmful.
Photography and Vehicle Images
We may take photographs or videos of vehicles for inspection, quality control, documentation and record-keeping purposes.
Where appropriate, we may also use photographs or videos of completed work for our website, social media, advertising or other marketing purposes.
1Where a customer does not wish their vehicle to be used for marketing purposes, they should inform us before the service begins.
We will make reasonable efforts not to include personal information, registration documents or other private information in marketing material.
Aftercare and Customer Responsibility
We will provide relevant aftercare recommendations where appropriate.
The customer is responsible for following recommended washing and maintenance procedures after the vehicle has been returned.
Damage, contamination or deterioration occurring after the vehicle has left our premises is outside our control.
Where a customer believes there is an issue with the completed service, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can inspect the vehicle and discuss the matter.
Complaints
We aim to provide a high standard of service and want customers to be satisfied with the work carried out. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible and provide details of the issue.
We will review the matter fairly and, where appropriate, inspect the vehicle before determining what action may be required.
Customers should give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify an issue before arranging remedial work elsewhere.
Right to Refuse or Stop Work
We reserve the right to refuse, postpone or stop work where:
* The vehicle presents a safety risk.
* The condition of the vehicle is materially different from that described when booking.
* The requested work could reasonably risk damaging the vehicle.
* The customer requests work that we consider unsafe or inappropriate.
* Payment arrangements have not been agreed.
* A customer behaves abusively, threateningly or inappropriately towards our staff.
Where work is stopped after it has commenced, charges may apply for work already completed and products or materials reasonably used.
Mobile Services
For mobile services, the customer is responsible for ensuring that suitable access and a reasonably safe working environment are available.
Where a service requires access to electricity, water, shelter or other facilities, these requirements will be discussed at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to postpone or alter a mobile appointment where weather, access, safety or site conditions make the agreed service impractical or unsafe.
Data and Privacy
Any personal information provided to Odesto Automotive will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
Customer information will only be used for legitimate business purposes such as managing bookings, providing services, communicating with customers, processing payments and maintaining appropriate business records.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The version applicable to your booking will normally be the version in effect at the time the booking is confirmed.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any applicable consumer rights.
